HOW DO I SPONSOR?
There are two simple ways you can support a child through our sponsorship program:
- Children who live with their family or relatives and need support with their tuition fees, books, uniforms, stationaries, and day meals. US$50 per month covers the full cost of such a day sponsorship.
- Children who need accommodation as well as all the above support. US$100 per month covers the full cost of a day sponsorship and safe and comfortable accommodation as well.
I was fortunate to lead a group of high school students from our home in Portland, OR, USA, to Yangrima School in 2017. I am so impressed by this school. Gopal Lama is a caring leader, and he works tirelessly to ensure the best for all Yangrima Students. The teachers are dedicated and talented educators. The most impressive element of the school is the students! They enthusiastically showed off the beauty of their school and of their village communities. Since that trip, it has been my privilege to support an individual student at the school. To be able to make a quality education available to him is just one small thing I can do to help support this amazing community.

When you sponsor a child at Yangrima, you will receive a welcome pack which includes a detailed profile of the sponsored child, photographs, note from her teacher as well as practical information about payments, communication etc. Thereafter you will receive a regular update (three times a year) from the School which will include letter written by your sponsored child, recent photos and a progress report.
