WHY SPONSOR A CHILD?

The Child Sponsorship Program is a unique opportunity to connect directly with one very special child and see her grow and develop to her full potential. By sponsoring a child at Yangrima, you will form a personal relationship with the child, her school and her community in Helambu, Nepal.

Children in our sponsorship program are orphaned, abandoned, or come from highly vulnerable backgrounds. Their families have suffered the impact of the major earthquake in 2015, the Covid Pandemic and the Helambu floods and landslides. Each child is carefully selected by a team of teachers, parents, community leaders and local duty bearers.

Hundreds of children have benefitted from the program since Yangrima School was established in 1989.
